What is Let's Play Music?

Let's Play Music is a 3-year music education course starting at ages 4-6 years old (about kindergarten-1st grade) that emphasizes total musicianship through piano playing, singing, classical music, note ready, and ear training...and it's all accomplished through play!

Any parent knows that their child can't get enough of play! When I was looking for a piano teacher for my children, the last thing I wanted was a dull lesson where the child sits at the bench and plunks out the notes on a page for half an hour (you know - the kind of lesson we grew up with and the reason most of us quit playing within two years). Where is the fun and inspiration in that? If you were to peek in on a Let's Play Music class, you would see jumping, singing, skipping, storytelling, and laughing! Music educators have long taught that the young child learns best through play, experience, and discovery. As musical concepts and skills are presented in a playful, joyful setting, children absorb knowledge and ability.
